There's no point insisting that students should attend at least 75% attendance, or for that matter, even 1%, to be eligible to appear for the final/end semester exams if they can learn on their own. The reason why students should attend my classes is that, in the class, they learn other intangible things which cannot be evaluated by the grading systems that happen at the end (or in the middle) of the semester.
