I started my career as a Scientist in the Bureau of Indian Standards and worked there for six years. During this time I was in charge of the Quality Assurance Department of the Central Laboratory at Sahibabad- Delhi National Capital Region.
After my PhD, I worked as a project scientist at IIT Guwahati very briefly. The project investigated climate change adaptation strategies and barriers for the state of Sikkim.
